My 30 Day Journal Challenge – Day 3 – Valuing / Hating

“Whenever someone says they value me, it’s not because they actually value “me” or who I am – it’s because I represent to them – their own values.” – Angus

If someone hates me it’s not because they hate “me” – it’s because I represent something they hate about themselves.

For example,

If someone values me because I listen to them, what they really value is listening and they project that value onto me because they want to become a better listener themselves.

We become who we like.

We also become who we hate.

But what is love?

It’s only non-judgement.
